In-Service Training on Orthotics
Training on orthotics in pediatric patients will be given by David Patterson, who has a Masters Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics with a specialty in pediatric care from Baylor College of Medicine. His virtual presentation will take place on November 7, 2020 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am. In his presentation, David will review the latest and greatest in pediatric bracing. He will focus on low tone pronation, toe walking, "w" sitting and in-toeing, crouch gait, high tone/spasticity, plantar flexion contractures, and range-of-motion management. Other issues will also be discussed as time permits.
